You'll be having sweet dreams with this one on the wall. This Native American Indian Double Dreamcatcher Artifact is of a very high quality. It was hand made by skilled Native American artist Amanda Tortalita. Amanda has been making artifacts like this for eight years. She currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She learned the craft from her great-great grandmother. Native American arts are traditionally taught and passed on down through the family generation to genreration. The wheel of this dreamcatcher has been wrapped in soft genuine buckskin leather. The webs on these have been perfectly hand woven in the traditional design from artificial sinew. They feature genuine Turquoise beads and colorful trade beads. Genuine feathers have been included to act as symbols of prayer. They are each 4" wide.
Originally the Dream Catcher was hung by the window or at the head of your bed. The bad dreams get caught in the web. The good dreams work their way through the hole in the center, rest on the feather like a dew drop, and evaporate to the Great Spirit in the morning sun. The prayer beads on the Dream Catcher trap all the bad dreams that are left on the web. The prayer beads burn them up. There are many variations to the story of the Dream catcher with different tribes.
